How to spot a fake course online: (Using 6 red flags for your common sense).

In the last 12 years... I tried & tested any possible way to make money online. I bought more courses than you can imagine. Most of them were a waste of money.

Here is my guide on how to spot a fake course online (Using 6 red flags for your common sense):

Nothing drastically changed in the last 10 years. In the past, it was a special SEO software that built your website in one click, and you ״wait for your money״...

Today, it's a "unique" community of "millionaires" that teach you how to make money online.

And their courses look so shiny that even if you have common sense, still... Part of you wants to buy it.

You think: "Maybe this time it's true"? No! It's not. You are just looking for a shortcut because you want everything NOW.

You look at a fake fancy lifestyle on Instagram. And you want the same. And you want it now... That is how our brain works. We will always try to find faster, easier ways to achieve something. As our brain always seeks energy saving.

It's just we all can't get it. These courses that we see online don't have anything revolutionary new. We all have access to AI with all the internet inside. Why would you still buy some 10-20 info videos about dropshipping? Where is your common sense?

There are no shortcuts to making money online.

  • No one can know before testing the market if some product will be profitable.

  • No one will give you any customers for free for your service.

People built courses from their own experience. Some of them are authentic. Some of them lie and hide the truth.

I met people with 100K followers. People, according to a Twitter account, are supposed to be GENIUS. When in reality, it's just a regular guy. Nothing special...

Most solopreneurs who are trying to succeed bought a lie. That there is a need to "fake it". Being someone bigger than you are. There is no need for that.

Here are 6 RED FLAGS you need to remember when you read any sales page online.

Protect your money and your mental health.

1. If you see a huge promise that sparks your "GREED button," - don't buy.

Perhaps going to be some catch at the end. Because there are no shortcuts! It's just a course. Real courses that teach practical skills. Don't over-promise. They show things as it is.

2. If It focuses on the "lifestyle" not an actual product.

  • Cool people that you are going to meet during the course.

  • Pictures of wealth, money, and girls. Even writing that pisses me off.

When they can't explain the value of the product. They push the lifestyle.

The car industry is doing that all the time. This way, you will be triggered by a fancy future you can have. You will buy with a hype emotion without any logic.

This is why you can find yourself in an eCommerce course when you hate to deal with physical products.

Just think logically. You are buying a course and not a new life. Why do they need to show you all this fancy life? Not one can sell a new life. But everyone can use manipulative words that push you to buy like a monkey without thinking.

3. There is no active support. If it's just a bunch of videos without any support system. Well... Good luck learning any new skill in this way. Learning something new is hard. It requires your brain to change.

Learning something new without support and a positive environment - is almost impossible.

4. If there is no face behind the course - run away. If the person can't even stand behind his creation. To say who he is and why he sells it. What logical reason do you have to trust him? Amount of followers? You can buy followers today from 3rd countries in one click…

5. Testimonials with huge results. You can create a fake testimonial in one second with your phone. A real testimonial is when you can contact the person sharing the result. Ask him questions and clarify what is shared. But even this, you can fake today.

So testimonials don't say so much today. Unless it's from someone with a trustworthy name on the web.

6. If the course "teaches" how to make money.

A course can teach skills like:

  • Sales

  • Copywriting

  • Dropshipping

  • Facebook ads

It can increase your skill set.

Let's take an example: So you learn how to manage Facebook ads. Great! It's a good skill. But who or what exactly are you gonna advertise? Who will work with you? So the course owner will tell you: "go and find your first customer".

And here, 90% of students will drop out of the game... Because they have no idea:

  • How to find the first client.

  • How to close the deal.

  • How to keep him.

So... You will need another course.

A sales course. And after the sales course, you will need a copywriting course. After copywriting course, you may need some help with burnout.

Each course can give you one piece of a HUGE puzzle of how to make money online. There is no online course that can teach everything.

And even if the course tries to teach ALL the skill sets you need. They will never teach you:

  • How to think

  • Solve problems

  • Being self-aware

These things you can learn ONLY from working on yourself.

And this is the hardest... It's easy to watch videos and nod your head. But it's hard to deal with your insecurities and demons that you have been running away from for decades. It requires courage. People who built something significant in life know that.

In the last 12 years in business. I built dozens of projects. Most of them got flopped. Others built me a fortune.

Today, I'm a brain-based coach for high achievers. Backed by the neuroscience method, that can help develop new skills, habits, and behaviors.

You can read about me »here«.

Don’t buy courses without understanding yourself and your goals.

Take care,
