How to stay focused on what you want?

Hey,
It's Alex.
All of us can be confused with what we want.
And when we don't know what we want and where we are going, short-term desires and procrastination can catch us off guard and fill our days.
Procrastination is just a symptom of what is going on deep inside of us.
It's our coping mechanism with the reality that we don't like.
Let me share a story about how my client found himself exploring vulnerability when his first goal was to be more present and focused on his business.
And how you can take this story and find your own way to be more focused on what is important to you.
This client is very special.
(Actually, all of my clients are special in their own way.)
From desire being focused to exploring vulnerability.
It was our 4th session…
We had explored many new learnings before.
But this session was even more powerful than others because of the wisdom my client gained.
He desired to be
More present in his life.
More focused on his business.
And to have a solid plan that he could execute daily without distraction.
But... He was easily distracted.
His belief system prevented him from being more productive.
After 1 hour of a deep conversation, we reached a place where everything connected to his level of vulnerability. Even his body reacted to the realization.
Suddenly, all the chaos in his mind started to make sense.
Did the new realization make him more productive?
Of course not.
Not yet…
The ineffective beliefs were still there. There was still coaching work to do to clear the path towards what he wanted.
But realizing what you need to focus on before getting what you want, before even writing the plan, is priceless.
Because you can write the best action plan in the world. God's written plan.
But if you don't know what inside of you can self-sabotage it, you are going to be stuck in the same place.
What you think about how to solve your problem is just one source of information that you can use.
There is also physical (your body) and emotional wisdom inside of you that can help solve your problem even better.
So when you have a challenge in your life that feels unsolvable...
Ask yourself these next questions:
What is the hidden benefit of having this challenge in my life?
What do I feel when I'm realizing this hidden benefit?
How does this hidden benefit serve me in my life?
What do I need to learn to solve it?
What is my gut telling me about all this?
How do I need to be (my way of being) to solve this challenge?
It's just a tiny example.
There is always more hidden information that you can learn from yourself.
It's never the tools or some magic scripts that create a change.
A real change starts in our way of being.
If we change our way of being — how we think, feel, and observe the world.
The behavior changes automatically.
It's one of the most interesting processes of humankind.
The process of changing WHO you are.
And as a result, in the outer world, you are changing WHAT you are.
So…
If you’d like to make a change in WHO you are and solve any challenge.
Consider going through some coaching with me.
